The Microsoft BizTalk Server 2009 Hyper-V Guide is the first installment of the BizTalk Server 2009 update to a series of guides intended to provide easily accessible, hands-on guidance to our customer and partner community. This 139 page guide is available on MSDN, TechNet and as a separate DOCX, PDF or CHM download.

The guide provides relevant information to IT professionals to enable them to make educated decisions about the advantages and tradeoffs of using Windows Server 2008 Hyper-V to virtualize BizTalk Server environments. This guidance is a result of 6 months of effort including a 6-week performance lab conducted by the BizTalk Customer Advisory Team.

The Key sections of the guide are:

·         Deploying BizTalk 2009 on Hyper-V: provides recommendations and best practices for installing, configuring, and deploying a BizTalk Server 2009 solution in a Hyper-V virtual environment.
